GlobalBrain is a service run by Convergence Technology Solutions LLC, a [State] limited liability company at [address] (“we” or “us”). It keeps a shared memory, your brain, that the AI tools you connect can read from and save to. These terms apply when you use GlobalBrain at global-brain.ai, its app, its MCP server or its API. By creating an account or using GlobalBrain, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
- You need to be at least 18 years old and able to agree to these terms.
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
- You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what the AI tools you connect do there.
- If you use GlobalBrain for an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Your free trial
- A new brain comes with a 14-day free trial of the full service. No payment card is needed.
- When the trial ends without a subscription, your brain becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted: you, and the tools you've connected, can still read, search and export everything, and you can delete it.
- We may change or end the trial offer for new sign-ups. That won't shorten a trial that has already started.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- GlobalBrain costs $9.99 a month or $99 a year, plus any applicable taxes, as shown when you subscribe. Our payment provider, Stripe, processes payments; we never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app; your plan continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then the brain becomes read-only.
- Payments aren't refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires a refund.
- If a payment fails, we'll retry it and tell you. If it still can't be collected, the brain becomes read-only.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. A new price applies from your next renewal after that notice.
4. AI use and the monthly allowance
- GlobalBrain uses AI models to add titles, kinds, topics and people to your notes, to index them for search, and for features such as area suggestions and routines.
- Each brain includes a monthly AI allowance. If it's used up, your notes are still saved, and the AI work on them waits until the allowance resets at the start of the next month.
- AI output can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it.
5. Your content
- What you and your tools save in your brain is yours. We don't claim ownership of it.
- You give us permission to store, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run GlobalBrain for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and to keep backups.
- You confirm you have the right to save what you save, including anything about other people.
- You can download everything in your brain at any time, and delete your brain at any time. Deleting is permanent.
6. AI tools you connect
When you connect a tool such as Claude, ChatGPT or an agent of your own, it can read from and save to the brain you choose, on your instructions. Those tools are provided by others under their own terms and privacy policies, which govern what they do with information they read. You can disconnect any tool at any time from the Connections page.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or save content that infringes anyone's rights;
- try to reach brains, accounts or data that aren't yours, or to get around GlobalBrain's security or limits;
- overload, disrupt, probe or reverse-engineer the service, except as the law allows;
- resell or provide GlobalBrain to others as a service without our written agreement; or
- use GlobalBrain to store secrets or regulated data it isn't designed for, such as passwords, API keys and access tokens, payment card numbers or government identity numbers. GlobalBrain isn't designed to meet PCI requirements, or for healthcare providers or other businesses to store patient records under HIPAA. Health information you save about yourself and your family is welcome, and is treated like the rest of your content.
8. Our service
- We own GlobalBrain, its software and its brand. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your account is in good standing.
- We work to keep GlobalBrain available and secure, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features, and we'll tell you before removing anything significant you pay for.
- If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using GlobalBrain and delete your brain at any time.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your content.
10. Disclaimers and liability
- GlobalBrain is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, such as fitness for a particular purpose.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and ask you to agree again. If you don't agree, you can cancel and download your content.
12. General
- These terms are governed by the laws of [State], and disputes go to the courts of [county, State], unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
